Character, description
This is a wood alternating black and cream colours and destined for luxury decoration. The name « Makassar » simply comes from the name of the port of loading. Under this name, woods with more regular veining than in Coromandel are found. It is the typical Makassar of the thirties widely used by designers such as J.E. Ruhlmann.
